Happy Independence Day

I hope those of you in the United States or its territories had an enjoyable holiday today. A lot of the testimonies shared in church today were centered around the liberties we enjoy and the inspiration of the founding fathers. It gave a new feeling to the holiday.

Today's show introduces two new artists to the show, Patti Miner and Simple Grace. I met both of these artists on Facebook. I am on Facebook all the time these days. Mallory Seamons, one of the three ladies in Simple Grace, is the daughter of Launi Petterson, a friend of mine from high school. I put a call out on Facebook looking for new music, and I found Patti and Simple Grace. I hope you enjoy the songs from them that I chose for this show.

As a side note, this 4th of July is the strangest, weather-wise, that I've experienced. Right now in Denver, at 9:13 PM, it is pouring rain and it's pouring rain. Usually, we're enjoying a balmy night and swatting away bugs. Not this year. :-)

I've already got everything chosen and ready to go for show 80. Once you hear it, you'll know why I'm so prepared for this show.
