Happy Monday! Thanks for coming by and reading the blog, and thanks for your support of LDS Music Today! I hope everyone had an enjoyable Easter yesterday, and took time to think about all our Savior has done for us and his ultimate sacrifice which allows us to repent, be resurrected, and gain eternal life. As you listen to today's music, think about this important season and what Easter means to you personally. As I have mentioned on my personal Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/slars), someone very close to me was diagnosed a week ago today with breast cancer. I have many family members and friends around the country praying for her, and her name is on the temple prayer roll in the Denver temple. Your prayers on her behalf and for her family members would also be very much appreciated. On a brighter note, I am happy to announce that my oldest daughter has just submitted her mission papers, and should be receiving her call within the next two weeks or so!!! I'll share with you where and when she is going as soon as I find out. I am in the process of putting together song lists and ideas for future shows. If you have any suggestions, please let me know, either by posting on the LDS Music Today Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/ldsmt), or via email using the "Contact Us" tab at the top of this page. I enjoy receiving feedback about shows (good comments and constructive criticism) and suggestions for new artists, songs, and themes for shows. I am thinking of two themes in particular for upcoming shows - a show with only Primary music, and a "rocking men of LDS Music Today" show - I'm excited for this one! |
